# What is Chain Of Command?

## Information

The Chain of Command is the proper structure used to communicate within the staff team. It ensures that all issues, questions, and concerns are handled in an organized and respectful manner.

Under no circumstances should a Lead Moderator or lower-ranked staff member be directly messaging the Owner for support or server-related issues.

Instead, you should:

1. Ask your question or raise your concern in staff chat.
2. A higher-ranking staff member will review it and, if necessary, pass it up the chain.
3. The issue will continue up through leadership until it either reaches the Owner or is seen by the Owner in staff chat.

Following the Chain of Command keeps communication clear, prevents confusion, and shows professionalism.
